Ah... that's a bit disconcerting :( Well, I did recently install a new PCI wireless card into my desktop. Maybe I bumped the SATA\power cables to one or both drives. I'll re-check all the connections now.

Graphics issue on Vista

Quick question... could it be power related? I see that nVIDIA recommend your PSU be able to deliver 22A on the +12V rail, but according to the sticker on the side of my PSU, it's rated at 18A on the +12 rails.

Thanks for the answers guys :) However, despite trying everything listed, my wi-fi card is still doing the same thing. The driver control program won't even let me change the damn channel it uses! It seems to be okay if it has something to continuously download, while I'm surfing the web...

Hey guys I have a Gigabyte GN-WMAG wireless PC card for my laptop. I can get it connected and pretty much working with a wi-fi broadband router, but it seems to every so often have a problem with receiving data packets. It will do this every 5-10 minutes, for about 10-15 seconds at a time...

Issue with USB hard disk

Hi Yup, the hub came with an AC adapter, which is connected. I have tried emailing CNet themselves, but I'm still waiting for answer. If they don't come back to me within a day or 2, I'd might as well just RMA the hub and be done with it. As for the external casing, it's an iRocks...

Hey guys As per the advice given here, I went and got myself a 7-port powered USB hub (it's a CNet UB27). However, even when I have nothing plugged into the hub, in the Device Manager my PC keeps finding and losing a 'Generic USB hub' (2 installed originally, when I plugged the hub in)...

Hi there. Yup, the enclosure does have a place for a 5V DC connection... the unit actually came with 2 USB cables (one for power, one for data). I have both plugged in at all times though. I'll get myself a 5V adapter then :)

Hey guys I got another external hard disk (based on a 100GB 2.5" hard disk), and am experiencing the problem where if I leave the drive plugged into my PC when shutting down, the next time I boot up it shows as an Uknown Device in the Device Manager. The only way to fix it is to unplug...
