Cabling in the 1200 is a whole different concept. the 900 has nothing to cater to a nice cabling setup. the 1200 has the whole motherboard tray set up for nice cabling, and the holes and slots are pretty much in the same place as the haf. pretty much the only difference i can see if the haf has...

I've got a 860 and with a Prolimatech MegaShadow and some Shin-Etsu X23 on the way in about a week : )) maybe i'll have to test it out. imo it should be able to hit 4ghz fairly easy with great air cooling.
Fun little thing to think about:
So lets believe for a second that Intel has made all these programs intel friendly and so they in fact do run faster on intel chips.
sooooo then why not get an intel because it runs a boat load of software products faster?
even if intel did give them some...
Why not wait a month and get the same if not better performance than a i7 920 with a i7 860. You will also get less power consumption and heat output. I think you will be much happier with a i7/I5 over a core 2 if you are doing video editing. But if you don't want to wait, I would get a Q9550...
Thanks! I think i'll wait for an i5. I don't want to do SLI, and i'm expecting the 6 core processors to be like > $400 so upgrading to that is pretty much out of the question, and triple vs dual channel memory has shown to be not much of a difference. So it fits my needs of a high performance...
I've been with hostgator.com for years and I swear by them. They have the BEST support and it's 24/7.
For a domain name godaddy.com works well for me, i've been with them for years and no problems.
TBH 13.95 is dirt cheap and you get what you pay for in hosting, always.
WRT54GL. Yea, it won't do N. But N is in draft and will take a long time to get out of draft. Also, it's not like once N comes out of draft G and B are going to go away. G and B should be fine for all kinds of use. I would be very surprised if G became the bottleneck of someones internet...
Thanks for the information. And i'm a little more sensitive to power usage juts because it's cheaper and I don't have a lot of $ to spend every month on energy costs. There might not be a lot of differences during idle, since i've seen 1366 i7s idle really low, but the load power usage will...
Ah yes you're right. I meant to say the i7 920, not the whole i7 line. And i'll be running it at stock, and if not then just bumping it up a little with no voltage increase.
Thanks for the input guys. Anyone else?
I'm looking to buy a new setup right now and i'm looking at the i7, i know it's been discontinued but i'm not someone who is worried about upgrading every 6 months (or even every year) so a discontinued processor is fine with me as long as it's a good performer.
The thing i'm worried about...
