Those who use an optical mouse

Thought we were talking Logitech... Anyways, I've owned that one and quite a few other opticals...they may be different brands but I've yet to see any optical mouse respond well to reflective surfaces. When you use the same mouse day by day without moving it beyond where you normally use it...

This is the problem. The box is using WinXP Pro. The box has one hard drive on the first IDE channel and one CDR/RW on the second IDE channel. Both are set to master, since they're on separate channels. The drive is an 80GB EIDE 7200RPM Maxtor and the CDRW is a Yamaha CRW2100E. Both drives'...

Those who use an optical mouse

I've the same mouse. Had the same problems when I wasn't using a mousepad. I game alot so it finally dawned on me that the surface under the mouse had become polished. An optical mouse sometimes has problems with shiny surfaces. I got a mousepad and the problems went away....well, for awhile...

My wife is still in and I've been out for almost 10 yrs. I'm currently an IT consultant. You wouldn't believe what I save in medical by relying on my wife's Tricare (Prime). I have NO medical benefits through my company. It awed one of my coworkers. No complaints about VA benefits here...

WTF? Linux CAN run on those specs....very easily. You DO have to consider some light programs, desktop environments, and window managers, but it's entirely possible for Linux to run on the system that was mentioned. IMO, you may want to look at Mandrake, Suse, and Fedora, although...

Not every Linux boot disk will have the cracking tools to find the password. In fact, hardly any do. He'd have better luck looking for specific password cracking programs that searching for Linux boot disks that contain crack tools. I think you're confusing 'boot disk' with live CDs...Linux...

Network configuration in Slackware

There's also 'pkgtool' where you can configure your network (run pkgtool as root). There's the command 'netconfig' too. Those two are for if you've a hard time doing what chsh1ca told you.
