how much of a difference does CPU make in 3dmark?
it seems to me it makes a huge difference, but i would think that when you are actually playing games 98% of the work is being done by the gpu.
did that...i guess i just mean minimal
i have heard horror stories where someone tried to rip the factory fan and heatsink off and ended up destroying the gpu - and for a little bit of a performance upgrade i would rather not risk losing 200 bucks
i just purchased a radeon 9800 pro and am looking for the best way to improve performance of the card - which obviously all of you have done
can anyone recommend a cooling solution that is inexpensive and doesn't require me ripping my card apart and taking the chances that i break something?
