My local CVS had Sony Color MiniDisc's 74min 3 pack marked down from $9.99 to $7.49. Don't know how you scored these, but obviously, my CVS is 3x the price that you paid. Perhaps they made a mistake and marked them down to the price that they were supposed to sell a single disc for ? Anyhow...

Yeah, nice for an MP3 player, but if you have a digicam, buying TWO 32 meg cards you have the option of off loading the smartmedia onto Iomega "clik" disks if you want to pick up a drive. 32 megs holds a lot of pictures, and carrying a spare 32 isn't an inconvience. (EDIT) Just...

Adaptec 19160 SCSI card for only $30 ???....WOW!

Straightforward typo. Ingram part # for a single unit, and that is exactly what they will drop ship to you. If you try to argue that it's supposed to be a 10 pack, you're SOL, because the error is clearly covered under the "not responsible for typo, etc." language on their website...

Thanks for the info on the Pointclick monthly maximum. I forgot about the $100 max per month. It's still a decent deal if you're in the market for this particular laptop.

I'd disagree with you about buying a refurbed Plextor drive. Plextor's QC is quite good, as is their RMA policy. I've personally owned CD burners that were still going strong after 700 burns. On the other hand, it doesn't make much sense to me to invest in OLD technology when for another $120...

It's pretty simple, this deal is designed for business users who would normally buy/lease this type of equipment. They'll buy the printer supplies anyhow and write them off, so if the printer is free, then all the better. If you're sittin' at home with an Epson 740 and contemplating this deal...

Onvia told me repeatedly that despite the "out of stock" status on the website, they in fact DO have them in stock. Unfortunately, I've fallen prey to this situation at Onvia in the past, so I hope they're not BS'ing me. I ordered one based on their verbal assurance that it's available.

My Pointclick account shows the credit as "received", meaning that they are waiting to process the confirmation e-mail that I forwarded to them. I expect that the charge should be "approved" shortly.

(edit) I can't get the Onvia coupon to work.... Nevermind... bug in IE4, for some reason it's having a problem on secure sites. Used Netscrape and was able to go thru Pointclick AND use the coupon. $319.89 shipped, minus $32 pointclick, minus $30 rebate = $259.89.... sweet !...... :)
