    The story that went with that pic was great, it was exactly what it looks like. He was in a competition of some sort involving jumping off a pier, got to the very end at full speed and suddenly realized he didn't want to jump. Unfortunately, momentum trumped his decision and threw him in.

    You can easily turn all of those off, there is a filter drop down menu in the upper right. Simply select "no lolcats" and you wont see anymore of them.

    I'd use that but I'd have to make them all into one huge image, and the server dynamically re-sizes the images to a maximum of 400 pixels wide every time they are displayed. Which would make for an uber load on the site if that particular image ever got hit really hard.
