2.5" sata hdd - can it be used in desktop with PSU sata power?

same as topic.. Are the PSU sata power compatible with the 2.5" sata HDD (notebook hdd) ? Will it be over power(kill it) ?? I have one lying around and would like to put it in the desktop instead of buying an enclosure for it.

AMD Phenom II X3 710 shows 1 core in Windows 7 sometimes...

This happens when I choose RESTART. It happens again. Never happens when I do SHUT DOWN. Probably Windows 7 ?

yeah I've look into that. It's not that problem. I dont know under what circumstances this problem will arise, I've experienced it couple times.

7600 is the final RTM windows 7.. I still get that problem in this. would there be a problem with compatibility issues with the mobo & proc?

AMD Phenom II X3 710 shows 1 core in Windows 7 sometimes...

Sometimes when I restart my windows 7, it shows only 1 core available. I have to restart it again to have all 3 cores. Is this my processor problem or Windows? It happens in Win 7 build 7226 and Win 7 7600. Any idea why?

Right now i'm on a HUNTKEY PSU 350W. Is this enough?? Proc : Phenom II X3 710 Mobo : Gigabyte MA78GM US2H GPU : ATI HD 4670 RAM : 4GB HDD : 1 sata 320GB 1 DVD I'm thinking to over clock a little, tats why i need higher W pSU.. not much.. maybe 2.6 to 2.8/3.0ghz.. can it handle?

You burn 8X with NEC ND-2500 successfully? Herrie's firmware? It seems nobody is having any successful burns at 8X with that firmware......How?

I used the firmware from cdfreaks. i'm using 1.07 firmware for NEC ND2500

Why do you guys got so many bad DVD-R?? I checked all mine. The last from bottom one are scratch a little. 2 or 3 has little scratch, useable. I'm satisfied with them. Burn few more of them and no read error.

Just got my 100pk today. It's LONGTEN001. How lucky. Just tried one burn. No read error. Plays on stand alone DVD player. Randomly pick a DVD-R, still a LONGTEN001. EDIT: I burn at 6X with NEC ND-2500A

So it's Yi Jhan 001 good? Is it the same as LONGTEN001? I see many people get the LONGTEN001. Newer stock carries a Yi Jhan001? How are the review on Yi Jhan 001? LONGTEN001 seems to be a good one. Anyone using NEC ND2500A with Yi Jhan 001?? Quality???
