Simply ask them..... I used to work for the University at Buffalo, and we actually made sure that xbox live and other consoles wouldnt have a problem connecting.

nothing that i know of ...... one nic's ip is 10.0.x.x and the server that it communicates with is on the same subnet the other nic is in the 192.168.1.x range and the router (192.168.1.1) is the gateway to the internet. on xp it just works on 2000 not.

you can download the modified firmware from http://www.sveasoft.com/modules/phpBB2/index.php for the WRT54G. The latest includes the speedbooster drivers essentially turning your 54g into a 54GS, along with numerous other features.

any port range. try the modified firmware from http://www.sveasoft.com/modules/phpBB2/index.php it allows you to edit iptables directly through a console its adds features of routers worth hundreds more.

anything that does QOS should help i know my wrt54g router with QOS can do it but its not exactly suitable for enterprise lvl stuff for more enterprise lvl stuff look at http://www.packeteer.com/

So, my router just died and i'm considering wired vs wireless
