    Stepping up to X800XL, will I be able to do 1600x1200 in FEAR?

    I've been able to try this with both a 6800GT and an 800XL.. You should drop res on either and increase quality settings/physics. Seems much more satisfying than the benefit of never seeing a jagged edge.

    Fanerman, You can get the retail box with the voucher. I think you also need a UPC from the card for that though. Doesn't look like they wanna hook up those who bought vouchers. Also, I think there was some ungodly long wait 4-6 weeks (after it's available, of course) or something like that.

    Update (11/30/04): 4Mb/s down, 384Kb/s up. Plus upgraded to 6Mb/s down and 512Kb/s up.

    Well, I'm feeling pretty good then. After a modem reboot, I am getting well over 256k up. Prolly more like 384. Here's for quiet nodes :)
