Pretty sure it's low, whenever I run games, it'll almost always cause a hard freeze of the computer. Usually follows several low voltage warning sounds.
Using a MSI K8N Neo mobo, I usually get a low 3.3v rail warning 2.8v or 2.9 in Corecenter (is this reliable?)
Sometimes nothing happens but sometimes the computer will hard freeze and refuses to post later (boots up for .5s and turns off or boots up indefinitley but nothing shows up on...
No it isn't a problem on every AMD cpu, i've ran seti (the command line client) on my duron 750, athlon xp 1800+ and my ahtlon 64 3000+.
They don't lag the computer at all. You are using command line client?
Mobos that are coming out Nforce 3 250gb are better than the k8v. I'm still waiting for them to come out even though the wait is kililng me, didn't want to pick up a crappier mobo.
Hmm I never thought about the dirver support under 64, that's kind of a downer.
Are you going to put active cooling on the chipset? (Is it needed?)
What kind of cooler you running on the cpu? I'm guessing with the case closed? Ambient temperature?
