    Upgrade from HD4890

    Currently using a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle Cooler and have done a little OCing but don't have the time I used too to tweak it, so I've been running it stock. I haven't even upgraded the bios since I built it. Maybe I should take a little time and see what I can ring out of it.

    As mentioned above, the cable is backwards. If it won't fit because of the tab, take a razorblade and shave it off. I've had to do this with a handfull of floppy cables.

    New Hard Drive not recognized?

    Had a similar problem with a promise controller card using Win98. Hook the new drive up to primary IDE on the motherboard Fdisk & format the new drive. Shut down hook up the drive back to the controller card. Seems that some controller cards won't recognize an unformated drive. Hope this helps.
