what temps does your psu's run at under load ? mine is around 50 and thats when the alert goes off =(

the monitor gives the warning when it hits 50 C , its hit that mark once in the first month ive had the machine is this too hot ?

Hi all, I have a retail antec server case with the 430 trupower. intel perl mobo, intel 3 ghz cpu gforce 4200 2 ide hdd's nothing is overclocked. This system is about 6 weeks old and all of a suddon the intel motherboard monitor says the fan in zone 2 is only spinning at 1000rpms , the zone 2...

1 company has it out, in 2 weeks time should be 4-5 more from the info ive read, they can't miss the xmas season and with only 1 month before xmas i'll bet they are around 200.00 within 2 weeks, we'll just have to see =)

with that being sad 6600gts should be around 200.00 when they hit the streets and as fast or faster then the 6800. so how hot is a 200.00 dolllar 6800, they should be 200.00 normally. but then again u don't have to wait

ok i think i'll wait for the 6800 or 6600gt to hit the 199.00 spot. bm store near me got the 6800 for 199 tomorrow and with all the 6600gt's supposed to be coming out in the next few weekes. maybe i'll hold off a bit =). i really only play at 1024x768 mostly so don't matter much to m

well I usually just let these things go ,but I did take a previous poster's advice and submited a complaint @ the BBB. I'm not the type to take advantage of mismarked ads and the such, but when something is clearly advertised, they should stand behind it. oh well I'll just keep shoping...

LGA 775 mobo's using DDR anyone have any expericence with this ?

I was looking to get a 775 mobo but don't want to pay the hi prices of DDR 2 , I see ASUS makes a board 775 socket but uses DDR regular, any suggestions ? how do these boards stack up against intel's for stability? thanks

i just cant think that intel would let you get away with getting a mobo and being able to change to a new processor without making a killing on us, i like intel but i know their thinking, nothings' free LOL

that would be the logical thinking but they are changing the fsb to 1066 which means a new mobo and memory probably not sure any more thoughts on this ?

just building another machine and can't figure if its worth it to go 775 socket if they just going to change it again next year with dual cores etc. This machine is a p4 box for gaming no overclocking. Thanks for you input. V

what level is balanced setting and how many setting above balanced are available. Have you tried running eq2 with max settings all models in raid type situations etc. thanks for your help

After a bit of looking on newegg. I found this case w/psu seems pretty good all around and price is good too what say you guys ?. not sure what soho file server is all about this is just a home gaming system. ANTEC Performance Plus Case with 430W Power Supply, Model "PLUS1080AMG" -RETAIL ????

desktop publishing software. best overall to start with.

Like the heading says I'm looking for a great desktop publishing program to learn. I have little experience in DTP so something ultra difficult to learn is not of much interest. I'm basically trying to make high quality flyers etc. thanks all
