How to extend router signal?

The router I have is a linksys WRT54GL. I just talked to support and they said I need to get 2 access points? I don't understand. I thought this router is already one access point.

Can't install Photoshop CS3 on Vista no matter what

I was finally able to install photoshop after days trying. I had to do everything people suggest. Remove ALL adobe programs with Revo Cleaner, then use the Adobe Cleanup Script. Then close all open programs. Then run as Admin. And it worked! crazy

Hi, I have run the clean script and still can't install. I waited and it did run until the end, but just to get a message in the end that it had failer installing photoshop cs3. Apparenly it install adobe bridge and other shared components, but not the main program. This is getting so...

Vista changed my setting back on it's own

here is the deal. I couldn't identify anything on the logs. But looks, I it's not letting me do a system restore. It says it can't complete. It's also not loading my main profile. This is what is happening, it's loading the generic profile. How do I fix this? Thanks

Anybody on 1920x1200 resolution screen?

Hi, It's either a 1440x900 or 1920x1200 1280x1024 is not a wide screen ration. So it either one or the other, that's why I am confused trying to decide. a 1680 I think would be fine, but it's not available.

Anybody on 1920x1200 resolution screen?

Could one of you please scale your 1920 down to 1680x1050 and let me know how it looks? I am looking at an inspiron here and it doesn't seem to blur or damage the image at all. Seems like it just scaled down everything. Thanks

How does a 1440x900 screen compare to 1280x1024?

The thing is I placed an order of a dell 15.4 notebook and I chose 1920x1200. But now I started second guessing and thinking it might be too much for a 15.5. Like things will get too small. Ideally would be 1650x1050, but dell doesn't sell those anymore. It's either 1440 or 1920.

What do you think about it? Does it stress your eye sight too much? I know I can increase the DPI, but still, fonts looks small. Anyway, I can only do it on XP for now, but I heard that Vista deals with DPI and font sizes better? Thanks

I talked to this girl with a XPS5130, 9300T and Nvidia 8600 and she says the fan does not kick in all the time, and she is a gamer. I guess not everyone is affected.

Thanks. It's def not for gaming. I do wedbesign, photo retouching and some video editing. Many times I will have outlook, dreamweaver, photoshop and browsers running at the same time. I usually have 10 windows or more open. That's why I look for CPU, RAM and fast hard drive. Thanks
