Yeah, I was thinking about this after I posted, and I'm going to leave the FB tonight stating simply that the drives weren't new and he gave a refund, but it seems sketchy (worded politely). I can't imagine what he could say about me other than that I didn't agree to a $35 restocking fee. LOL

How old is your monitor?

I've got a new 40" Samsung KU6300 4k flanked by a 23" 1080p NEC from 2010 and a 24" 1200p Soyo Topaz S MVA from 2007ish (both in portrait mode). I've got a couple more supplementary monitors but they're not as old. I don't think I'll upgrade for a long while--I only use the flanking monitors...

Yikes. That is horrible. I've sold a few DVDs on ebay recently, but I don't (and won't) make a habit of it. As a seller, I trust neither ebay nor paypal based on hearing a lot of stories like this one.

I checked the serial on one of the drives and it checked out. I thought the warranty was tied to the drive itself? If not, then I'm definitely returning them. ...I really should have just paid the extra $90 and gotten a couple more from newegg.

Core i/Core M (possibly fanless) mini PC, better value than $500, 2014 Mac Mini?

How much better are the newer thinkpads to the t410s

I have a T440p as my main machine now (bought a crisp unit from ebay). Keyboard aside, my T420s is now a backup thanks primarily to the 1080 IPS I put into the T440p. The feel of the keyboard is good but the layout no es bueno.

Thinkpad T460p - What a Disappointment

The standard trackpad on that series is unusable, as was the 1366*768 screen (for me). Those upgrades cost $111 and about 30 mins of my time. They're both easy but require a bit of disassembly.

Help me find a new Case for my Galaxy S3!

The $3 TPU case I bought at release has held up admirably. I have a few very faint (I had to turn my screen off just now to look for them) screen scratches after a thousand or so drops, but I can't think of a thinner solution.
