Cat5e shielded wire?

You have to pull back the shielding in order to get the RJ-45 connector on and crimped. ;) It's not going to matter what you use or where you use it. STP cabling is mainly for protecting the twisted pairs against EFI/RFI and the like. Unless you've got a lot of radio equipment in your house...

If my cable modem speeds exceed T1 spec, how is it so cheap?

The majority of your T1 lines are going to be copper, not fiber. The advantage T1 has is that you are guaranteed that speed no matter what, while cable speeds can and do fluctuate frequently. The purpose of leasing a T1 line is the premise that you are getting reliable, dedicated bandwidth.

Wireless Suggestions

I've heard good things about the Linksys WRT54G. If this is for casual web surfing/net access, a wireless B solution is recommended, but for speed and reliability i.e. file transfers, a wireless G solution is preferred.

Power Steering Fluid on Integra. Update!

Can you get the name of the owner of an IP address

Okay, let me spell it out for you: The ISP WILL NOT give you records for the owner of an IP address. It's a legal issue and a privacy issue. There's no way they will give the information to you without a legitimate LEGAL reason.

If it's a legal issue then you can probably have the police or something contact the ISP for that sort of information. If not, then you're probably out of luck.
