Actually we've been keeping track of this at futuremark, and PNY has no known problems. Every other company (BFG, eVGA, XFX, etc.) has had one or more problems.

Did you use the max fps command? While in game press the "~" key and a console should come up. I don't remember the exact command but I think it's fps_max, and enter in fps_max 100. Try that and see if it helps at all.

Ok thanks for replies. I don't think I put on my hsf backwards because there is a little "step" or notch if you want to call it, and it lines up with the CPU holder. If you know what I mean.

I recommend the ABIT NF7-S, it supports up to 400 FSB and has pretty good onboard sound. I think it cost $85 on newegg right now. Also the AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (2.166 GHz) that runs at 400 FSB is only $138 for OEM at newegg. This is the one I ordered and I'm upgrading from an AMD Athlon XP...
