toshiba laptop, will not boot up

i hit the power, and i get the startup screen, but nothing else, no windows startup screen, i've tried all keys, but they do nothing except beep. any ideas where i can start

How do i delete these files

i have some kind of spyware virus/trojan on my computer. norton identifies which files they are but i am unable to delete them in normal mode or safe mode. i get an access denied messagebox. how can i get rid of these things?

false, the g35 comes with a 6 speed anyways g35 = rwd, 300hp, 6 speed se - fwd, 160hp and 5speed, and looks ugly whats to compare?

Windows XP install freezes

I just got two 300gb maxors and a promise fasttrack 2200 controller card, have them stripped in raid 0.now i try to install windows and when it initially copies the files it freezes every time, i've used various disks and drives. any ideas?

right now i have a maxtor 60gig and a wd 120gig dive and both are near capacity. i'm thinking of buying 2 250 or 300gig drives. i'm looking at the maxtor diamondmax10's right now that have 16mb cache and ncq. are those drive alright? i want to raid the dives in raid 0. if i do this can i later...

automatic tranmsission

it downshifts. automatic transmissions dont ever go into neural while in drive. check out that link CadetLee posted.

Why does everyone ship everything UPS and FedEX

I have found USPS and UPS to be unrealiable, at least in my area. I only send stuff out FedEX and try to get packages shipped to me via FedEX. Plus there is a FedEX place 5 minutes away and its open late versus the 45 minute drive for UPS and the post office closing early.

Tool advice...

We've had lots of problems with milwaukee tools at work (I work for a hvac contractor) and there warrenties are laughable. the bosch corded drills are nice. i have no experience with a mikita but i really like my 18v dewalt hammerdrill, and other dewalt tools have seemed to stand up to day to...

a full setup not including the fridge runs about 200-250 new. i found an excelent deal int he paper, everything including fridge for 90$ also if you get a used one, it has to be inspected every five years to be refilled. the people at the liquer store always give me crap when i fill up mine...

good responces, well until yesterday, the three of us had no recolection of them telling us we had to pay, at it wasnt in the lease, just the original contract. so were pretty much screwed i take it. so next up, repairs that they havent fixed, that we put on the original move in sheet...
