Well like I said earlier I personally don't ever PM and usually don't do rebates either. I mainly buy dvds and things like that from BB, but if they want to give rebates on things that loses them money, than that is their problem. If they are losing money, than they shouldn't offer the rebates...
I don't think that BB in general is bad, but I do believe they have some issues with their policies that need to be addressed. I have no problem believing that you have good manages at your store, and that they were very good when it comes to PMs, but you can't just assume that every other BB...
I don't want to get in the middle of all the flak, but I don't see why it matters why he wanted BB to PM. Maybe he had a bad experience at the other store recently, and thought BB would be better (at the time), or maybe someone he really hates works there and he doesn't want to see that person...
While I agree that there are some who abuse the PM policy, there are just as many that do not, yet still wish to take advantage of it. I don't mind them changing their policy, since that is their right, but I do think that it should be defined in the policy what is and is not acceptable and what...
Man that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If they don't honor their own shelf tags, that's absolutely ludicrous. At OD if a customer showed us that a shelf tag had a lower price, even if the shelf tag was just old and someone had forgotten to change it, we would honor the price. We...
The only beef I have with that is the policy says "Just bring us a current ad or other verifiable written proof of the lower price, plus your original Best Buy sales receipt to claim your refund. This offer good only on all new in-the-box products of the same brand and model that are available...
Unfortunately, that's the way most stores work (or at least if the manager has their way). I'm not sure about BB but at Office Depot you HAD to walk up to anyone you saw and ask if they needed help. The reason wasn't really because they wanted us to help them, but because you never know when you...
My aunt had an interesting run-in with BB recently. She went to buy a new tv (I was with her). The TV she ended up getting was $650 before tax. One of the reasons she picked the model that she did was that it was supposed to have a lighted remote. The remotes for the TVs are on display in front...
