Older, unsupported sound cards could soon be bad news for new games using DirectX V8.0 and above. Deus Ex is a good example. I think the Creative labs 'Live' series of cards and perhaps (but for how long!) the MX400 from Diamond are the only ones with regularly updated drivers.
