Anyone got an Xperia Z2?

My wife has the first one and been thinking of upgrading her to this in the near future. Anyone that had the previous Z on Tmobile to compare to this one? If it's worth the upgrade i guess is the question. Hows battery? -D

What single card would best a HD5830 XF setup?

Two 1gb card may = 2gb physical ram, but it only uses 1gb (in XF/SLI config). So either case, you are still at 1gb -D

Backup drag and drop

Yes. Some software can only restore image to same size drive or larger drives. So keep that in mind. I've never used DiskImage myself, but I know a few out there are like that. -D

Microsoft Level 3 Support Can't Help - can AT? **STILL UNSOLVED AS OF 2/6/12 - help**

When you set your ram to 1.6v, did you adjust the qpi/vtt? If not, set it to 1.35v and see what happens. If that doesn't work, try using a regular hard drive instead of the ssd and see if that works. -D

Backup drag and drop

Better to use Diskimage 6 to do a backup of all partitions and then restore back to new hard drive. If you don't, you won't be able to boot with new drive. Windows 7 creates a 100mb partition that is needed for booting. (unless you preformated drive and did without, but it defaults to creating...

Newly built PC POST but won't boot

when you say POST's but no video, does that mean you can see it POST but after that you get nothing? Maybe try a different video connector? If you are using HDMI, try DVI or VGA? Or maybe even another monitor just to see. -D

Who knows what turbo memory is?

In simple terms, extra cache for hard drive. Loads "things" faster. To be honest, i would rather just upgrade your hard drive to a SSD and skip the whole turbo cache thing. -D

Email weirdness

Could be due to email filtering product. We use Trend Micro IMSVA at work and you can set up custom rules to delete emails of certain types. It can be sent to a spam folder, it can be set to go to a quarantine area on the server or just delete with no notifications whatsoever. If you can...

Any Image Quality difference

This and that HDMI and DisplayPort also passes audio. DVI is video only. But absolutely no difference in image quality. and what the heck happened man? thought you were going larger? :) -D

PSU requirement for Triple SLI

Yep...need an upgrade for sure if you going tri sli gtx 275s. A good 750w should do the job. And i will have to agree with jag87 about tri sli not being worth the trouble, unless of course you are folding....then by all means. :) -D

Installing First Heat Sink.

I think you should be ok. Just keep an eye on your temps and see what it idles at and at full load. That will tell you pretty quickly if you have it mounted on correctly. And good choice on cooler btw. -D

Go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212+. If you have a Micro Center near ya, they are going for around $24 right now from there. By far the best bang for the buck cooler right now in that price range. -D

PC Hard Freezing Problem

I'm thinking motherboard as well. However, you said you can do the scan in safe mode where you couldn't when in normal mode. And it seems you've done a fair amount of troubleshooting. A few other things to try. Create a new user profile, log in with new user and try. If it still freezes...

I would personally go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ cooler instead, although nothing wrong with the freezer pro, i feel the 212+ is the best bang for the buck cooler right now. As for hard drives, change that to Samsung's F3 1TB drive, very fast drive for the price. If you can pull it, get...

Are most power supplies similar?

Get one for a reputable brand like the ones you listed. I would look for the 80+ cert as well and then at power requirements based on the system you will be using it for. For what you listed, i would say a 500w good quality psu would be good enough. If you plan on sli/cf then you will need...

What is your command rate set to? I didn't see that setting on your OP and it's a very important one. I know on some boards when fully populated has to be set to 2T and not 1T. -D

Try installing the latest chipset drivers from Asus if you haven't done so already. If that doesn't work, try setting in BIOS AHCI mode to native IDE. -D
