My original thought too. However, it does make sense, and the article is from what I would consider a relatively reliable source (although obviously not mac-centric) I think it's probably legit. The Quadro is coming, so why not make the 285 available? Pretty similar cards.

Has anyone heard anything about GTS 250 support? Pricing for the rebrand 1gb versions is more competitive than the 9800GTX+. I've looked around, 1 user at insanely who claims to have it fully working, and its basically a 9800GTX+, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Looks like the best option...

Glossy 24 or 26 inch Lcd

I just bought a Dell G2410 which as far as I know uses the same panel with an LED backlight. It is 16:9, not 16:10, so keep that in mind. Vertical space of your average 22" 16:10 monitor. Also uses a TN panel. That said, I love the G2410. Used mostly for Xbox 360 and movies, it's perfect for me...

Yeah, I was originally planning on a Core 2 Quad, but at this point the i7 920 is available to me at about the same price as a C2Q. I have to compare motherboards, and running OSX smoothly is honestly more critical than performance, but i7 would be nice to have for video work.

Yep, BC sent WoW downhill, and fast. I too miss the Tarren Mill World PvP and the MC/BWL raids. I am still proud of my lock: first lock on the server with full Tier 1, 6/8 Tier 2 with the Staff of Dominance. I don't have time for WoW these days anyhow, so it's probably best that I quit.
