    Gave up on trying to find an X800XT

    Cancelled my x800xt order today and got a 6800GT as well. It seems to hang with the $500 cards pretty well and gives the x800 pro a decent beating so I'm sure I'll be more than happy with it.

    That cpu is definitely getting up there in age, while the 9500 pro is still a decent card. Personally I think it's a pretty easy choice that you need a new cpu.

    Reinstalling windows is the typical procedure when you get a new motherboard. I'd see if you can't just repair it, but make sure all the old drivers from your old board are gone before you do. Personally I'd format and reinstall to be safe.

    No problems in about the last 48 hours. Read Sianath's post on 6/17 about enabling the driver verifier. That helped me identify a driver that was causing conflicts.

    Sent. I took a look at the larger dump file in debugging tools and it was a different file listed as the probable cause of the error, ntkrnlmp.exe.

    The option for automatically rebooting has been off for quite some time. I was going to update my bios but I heard bad stories about the newer ones for my board. It appears that I got a dump from a crash while I was gone a bit ago, its about 69mb. Edit: I also got a minidump.

    Another crash a couple hours ago. The mouse froze, maybe about 2 seconds later the screen went black and the computer rebooted. It once again didn't leave any sort of error report for me :(
