I've had a bad experience with CompUSA, went with friend and bought a pci tv card there, went to his house to install it for him. Ended up the card was like too big to fit in pci slot, was realy weird! So took the card back told them what was up and had them exchange the card for another one...
STEAM is horrible! Too many updates and the delayed awp totaly kills cs. :P I still play 1.5 there are some good servers still out there :D, but not too many of them... Forcing me to play STEAM sometimes :( Balt you can still bind stuff in the console, its much easier writing little buy scripts...
Actualy I think RH9 doesn't support NTFS, you have to install this Linux kernel driver to be able to access your NTFS partitan/drive. Or you can just run Knoppix(comes with NTFS driver) and retrieve your files. heh I'm newb at linux too :P
Don't know what to tell you, I would write you a little program for it, BUT I'm only 15:P... with not too much programing experience. Maybe some nice person in here will write you one... if your still looking for a program to do this in a week or so I could write you one. Good luck on finding one.
