There are a few ok deals to be had. Most of it is just getting to the prices you might pay online, but you don't have to pay shipping. Definitely have to know your prices and what you are buying. I check back occasionally to see if anything comes up.
This has been beat to death in fatwallet and slickdeal forums.
Don't know about the residents of hawaii, but I did get this to work. The front end manager at the store wrote on the back of his card that office depot will give me $125.00 if the 3rd rebate is refused.
At that point I was ok...
OP said FIRST 25 conversions. They'll do so many at a time. I would not be surprised to see some closed as well, but it will take some time to get all of the stores converted.
1.) Don't have another circuit close enough to plug in the laser printer as all the outlets in the room are wired on the same circuit. I have heard a few others say they have a similar problem as laser printers draw so much power at warm-up.
2.) I don't think noise would be the cause, but it...
I don't have the laser printer going through the UPS. But, the laser printer plugs into an outlet that is on the same circuit so when it powers up it consumes quite a bit of power for a few seconds. This has caused my computer to restart as my current UPS does not have AVR.
Thanks for the feedback. I bought the APC 650ES at CompUSA last week, but it does not have AVR which is something that I would really like to have. So I am thinking of returning the APC and picking up the Belkin 800 at Staples.
Has anyone used the Belkin F6C800UNV that was mentioned earlier in this thread?
Staples has them back in stock and at $60.00 it seems to be a good deal. Has AVR which is something I am looking for as my laser printer draws tons of power when it warms up.
After further review, I am just going to make an extension for the power LED since the case has two additional LEDs on the front. Trying to make the Y harness is too much of a pain and not worth it. I found the parts at a good price, but the shipping kills it.
I'm a little concerned ordering from them. Have you ever placed an order with them. I'm not familiar with them, but that may be because I don't normally buy components such as this. There prices are great and shipping is good too.

Checked their reseller ratings and NOT GOOD!.

Only bummer is my case has a 9 pin connector similar to an internal USB connector that I was hoping to connect to this card to so I had front firewire access.
One question to those that have received it. The jumper comes set to internal 12v on and external 12v off. I would assume that this...
Looking for a supplier for the 2 pin plugs used on the case wiring for LEDs and switches, etc. I can't seem to find any. My guess is that I am searching under the wrong terminology. Anyone offer me some help where they have found them or what the correct name is for the 2pin plugs.
I'll look into that. I know they make a 3 port server. 1 USB port and two parallel ports. One of my printers is parallel which right now has a USB to Parallel cable. The other is only USB. I'll have to take a look and see if the third one can use either.
I want to add a print server into my network at home since I have 3 printers and I get tired of having to make sure that a specific computer is on. Most of the Print Servers that have USB ports, such as the D-Link DP-300U have one USB port. Can a 4 port USB Hub be attached to the one USB port on...

I did not want to use both at the same time, but I don't want to have to check a box in the properties each time I want to use the other burner.
LTC8K6,
I'll give that a try and see what happens. while I am at it I am going to uninstall sonic DLA
I doubt that they use the TRUE cost to determine the cost +7%. If they did use the true cost of the item, I would think that some of the products would be a much better deal. It would not surprise me if they used a wholesale price which is higher than the price they pay to determine the cost...
I tend to not think it is the hardware, but you never know. When I do the switch to the new MOBO I will be installing a new HD as well and putting on a fresh install of XP PRO.
Right now the computer has sonic DLA on it, but it has been disabled as I am not a fan of DLA since I forgot to...
I'll be changing the MOBO out soon to a k7s5a to take advantage of a XP2000 I have lying around.. Maybe the ECS mobo doesn't allow both drivers to be writeable at the same time?
Sonata case is brand new so there are no plans for another case. Though I did think about adding another led. But, I would probably build a small harness first and if the voltage flowing back up turns out to be a problem I know that with a few small componenets and I can prevent reverse flow.
Kranky, thanks for the input. I couldn't find any Y harnesses either so I thought about making one. My main concern was voltage going back up to the mobo from the card when the HDD busy light is activated (or vice versa). I kind of kicked around the idea of using the power LED for a second HDD...
