Screen Protectors

I've found Realook screen protectors (buy on Amazon) to be almost completely invisible. They are the static film type. Their customer service is very, very good. Just make sure to find and watch installation instruction videos on Youtube prior to installing.

Looks very similar to the smart reports for both my drives. I don't think the 99% thing is a real rating. I did have problems with Active@Hard Disk Monitor. It runs a service that interferes with reading and writing operations of the HD (at least in my case). I uninstalled it and the problem...

It was either Active@ Hard Disk monitor (free) or the S.M.A.R.T. Monitoring Tools on Sourcefourge (also free). I can't remember. HDTools did not work for some reason.

Don't worry about missing the newegg sale; turns out it was a price mistake despite what their CSR's said. Oh well. That is a good price for the MM20! I'm leaning towards that now as the IBM is just too expensive...
