A lot of guys on the MSI boards are saying that the Crucial Ballistix is good with this board. It uses Micron chips, and so do the OCZ (3500 and up, the OCZ 3200 uses Samsung chips) so it's probably a matter of which color heatspreaders you prefer.

You'll probably need more fans...so you could either pick up a fairly cheap case with a couple of fans, or you could cut up the old case and put fans in it. Modding the old case might be more fun and if you mess it up, then you can buy another one.
If you're not afraid to beat your case into submission to make it work, go to Newegg and get a 30 dollar Maxtop case with side and top fan. Ditch the crappy power supply and get a nice one for 80-90 bucks, then use a Dremel tool or something like that to grind away the rivet on the I/O shield...
