You have the internet, use it! AT&T prepaid, don't know if they have free M2M, I doubt it though. Don't know about Tmo's prepaid either. Search around on howardforums DOT com if you have any other wireless ?'s. Xcelis ONLY works with Cing & Tmo. Don't bother looking around for another...

Tmobile would be the cheapest. Basic plan = $19.99 + $6.99 (for unlimited tmo to tmo) = $26.98 + $9.99 (Xcelis) = $36.97/mo unlimited calling (+taxes) Cheapest Cingular plan = $39.99 EDIT: Remember Tmo's plan has only 60 whenever mins and 500 wknd mins. You still get charged for incomings...

Problem w/powering on comp.

Mech..there aren't any standoffs that are under the board which don't have a screw hole. Right now, I have nothing connected to the mboard except the essentials and did set the HD as the single drive b/c it's on it's own IDE cable. Edited first post to reflect new prob..I really appreciate...

Problem w/powering on comp.

Mech, they are on the standoffs, but I'm not using screws/standoffs in all the holes on the mboard b/c they don't all line up w/the holes on the case's mboard tray. Here's what the comp is composed of: Aspire Dreamer II Case w/350W PSU AMD 2500+ Unlocked Barton Core Retail CPU (bought used)...

Problem w/powering on comp.

Ok, I took out the mboard, and it powered on and everything. Now, I put it all back into the case and the comp does power on using the front case switch, but it won't power off using that switch. Also, the monitor doesn't show anything when it's powered on? Just keeps saying "monitor is in...

Problem w/powering on comp.

I disconnected all cables except the PS to Mboard wires, and have only the RAM, vid card, CPU connected to the mboard. Touched the power button pins on the mboard w/a screwdriver & flipped the switch on the PS -- nothing happened except a quick flash of an LED light in mboard's integrated...

Problem w/powering on comp.

Ok, I took out the mboard, and it powered on and everything. Now, I put it all back into the case and the comp doesn't power on at all. What do I do? I'm guessing it's a short somewhere or something but how do you remedy something like that? I'm so confused!

Will an old Radoen work with my Abit Mboard?

I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to this stuff, so I wanted to know if my old Radeon 7000 32MB DDR AGP will work with my Abit NF7 motherboard. Abit's site says it supports 8X, but is that backwards compatible so that the 2X/4X 7000 will work in it? Thanks in advance for your help!
