We hear that there is no such thing as negative publicity....but are there any examples of this happening on the Internet? Where something like negative buzz or backlash occurs, but the company actually does well because of it?
Edit:
Something that came to mind for me were the X360 RROD...
Well, I'm trying to do a more commercial site and would rather have things that are not so massively out there on every other forum or IM client, yet still good looking. To do a full set of 50+ icons versus say paying $100 and having them now, the money is ok.
Need to buy an emoticon set for my community website. Like something unique, budget around $100 ok, but just want to see what's out there. Suggestions?
Google searching wasn't able to find much.
I hope this is a stupid question, because that means the answer will come quick at my own embarrassment, but how do I get replies in Thunderbird to come before the quoted message, not after?
Ah, I think I understand better now. So by default, if I turn on the camera and take a picture, I will have a wider field of view (not different aspect ratio, still 4:3) than if I were using a normal 35 lens.
I noticed the 850 and 870 IS have the same image resolutions, so what's really the wide angle lens do?
I know you can choose widescreen on the 870IS, but all that seems to do is cut off the top and bottom of the image, not actually increase the width field of the image, which I would think...
Ah, thanks. That's what my impressions were from reading the various reviews, didn't know if it somehow could improve with better drivers or support over time.
Thinking of getting a laptop with turbo memory. Heard some negative/lukewarm reviews about its worth, but do you think it will eventually be worth having? I plan to have this laptop for 3-4 years, and maybe it will steadily improve? Or will the improvements not be accessible to me (through...
DealExtreme is a good site. Ordered one back in May, no problems. Perfect for me since I live in Vietnam, and it's not so easy to buy games over here. (I've had shop owners laugh at why I would buy games)
I own a SNES with a bunch of games. I've bought systems like the Genesis and Game Gear and Atari Lynx over time, but just can't handle having a used system for whatever reason. I just don't care about them as much, and so I sell them a month later.
Searching didn't help me, anyone know this?
Just wondering if Yahoo (and others if you have that information) do their instant messenger chat through P2P connections or go through a server.
I have always assumed P2P.
Pretty simple question laid out in the topic.
ASFAIK, you can't do it within YouTube, but maybe there's software or something else that lets you do it? Did a search on Google, still wasn't clear.

I think most places can do slideshows, although there is a site that specializes in slideshows.
Oh, now I do all that stuff. I'm actually just saying usually when I practice I avoid looking at my shadow, because it's actually easier to practice that way and more fun. So I wonder if I'm cheating myself a little because seeing myself helps.
I was wondering if people felt that doing that...
I've always thought so, so if I'm outside I avoid practicing my handle where I can see myself doing it on the ground.
Since it's easier to handle the ball in drills if you can see it, I thought you have to do it the hard way to get the most out of it.
I was doing drills tonight, and I...
I'm looking into Smugmug right now as well. That's awesome about the watermark, not so awesome about the things fuzzybabybunny mentioned. But Smugmug is supposed to be fantastic.
Quick questions, which I'm looking for in the Smugmug support section as well.
Is it easy to batch upload if...
Hey,
I'm currently in Vietnam (I'm American) trying to set up an e-payment option for my website (buyers will be Vietnamese as well). What payment options should I look into. Of course, there's PayPal, E-Gold, WorldPay....will look into all of those.
Any suggestions or comments?
I think it's still a great show. I think now it has less action, but the plotlines are still amazing....maybe too much of religious type of stuff, imbalanced now
I don't know about backing "over him"- you back into him, or you try while dribbling. Actually you can do so without the ball (hold or gain a position).

Whether you went to JC or not won't have any effect on your job prospects. You don't even need to list it on your resume. It's really all up to you and what you...
Hey guys,
Looking for a music player for my website.
I've seen some flash solutions, but I can't find anything in Flash that supports OGG or AAC- basically I'm looking for the best quality at 64kbps.
I don't necessarily know if I have to go with Flash, but I do need something where you...
Hi mechBgon,
Thanks for the help. I can access the drive still, just can't use the normal double click and go inside. Now I have to right click/open to access it. The CMD instruction works.
Affected files:
f:\infrom.exe
f:\rm\sy.exe
f:\ms.config\id.exe
f:\ms.config\idup.exe
Each are...
