The Super Talent memory I got is the same way. It will run 4-3-3-8 2T no problem but will not do 1T no matter how loose I make the timings.

Any way to disable AXP Barton Speed Throttling?

I just bought a Mobile 2400+ Barton processor that I put in my Shuttle SN45 XPC. It runs fine at 200x12 at 1.8v. However, when it goes under heavy load (like running a distributed computing project or whatnot), the CPU throttling kicks in and scales the speed back 200-300 MHz. The CPU...

The *Official* Asus A7N8X (Deluxe) Thread

I'm assuming he's referring to the cold boot problem I also have. With my FSB at 190, my computer won't POST from a cold boot. I have to hold down the insert key before powering up to boot with default bios settings, then restart the comptuer to get it to boot with the overclocked values.

Anyone tried Dual Channel DDR with a DC?

A7N8X Delux: Need help with 2 remaining issues.

Check the bios. There is an option to specify whether each port is USB1.1+2.0 or just USB1.1. If they are set correctly, I would guess it's probably just a compatibility problem with the nForce2 and Sandra. I don't own any USB2.0 devices so I can't check it. Is it the nVidia or the 3COM...

Question for Antec 1080AMG Owners

Does anyone know what the CFM and dB rating is for the 3 included fans? Through experimentation, I've found that they put out less air than a 39CFM Sunon fan but more that a 24CFM Panaflo. But I'd be curious to know their exact ratings.

SLK-800 temperature problem

What motherboard are you using? Some motherboards display the temperature from the diode inside the CPUs core, which is quite a bit higher than the socket temperature most people are used to seeing.

Who makes good KVM switches?

I'm looking for a good-quality (so no Belkin) 4-port PS/2 KVM switch. I'm not interested in the Linksys ones because of the fixed CTRL-CTRL selection method. What other manufacturers make good (i.e., little or no video degredation, not losing mice and keyboard while switching) KVMs?

What is the difference between K7 and K8?

All Athlons on the market currently are the K7. The K8 is the next-generation 64-bit Hammer processors which won't be available for several months at least.
