Thanks for reply. Yea i've removed his old drivers,driver cleaner as well as usual. can check Model of PSU but don't believe thats the case. just got it new from the egg thinking the same thing. was using an older 350w with the 7900 with no problems. May try a complete reinstall...

Ok swapped out the Ram,but no help. Pulled HS/F from CPU,and took off the copper Shim,then reatached another HS/F without the Shim,and have yet to have the problem going into the BIOS,and it don't freeze inside the PChealth tab in the BIOS. Thinking the Shim had something to do with it...

Switch - port forwarding?

If he is using a switch (With no Router) then he might have more then 1 IP from his ISP.(If he has Multiple PC's connected) meaning he don't need a Router to split 1 IP for all PC's. Unless ofcourse he is using one of his PC's as a Router. You May want to list what he has setup exactly...

Do Switches Assign IPs

No switches are similiar to Hubs, but better.a Router is what will assign IP's if you set it to use DHCP for your network. Switches/Hubs won't assign IP's. Yeah you should be able to swap the old Hub out and replace with the Switch and everything will stay the same. Shawn.

Road Runner DNS server seems to suck all of a sudden

That site took a second to start loading on mine as well. Some sites will do that no matter what you do i believe. but 95% of mine load very fast now.compared to about 5% loading before changing the Numbers. Nice to see that site was about guitars. i'll have to check it out now. :)...

Road Runner DNS server seems to suck all of a sudden

You should be able to just set the DNS to "auto" in your networking properties,and just setup the DNS numbers you want from within your Routers Config and it should direct everything for you. Let me know if it works. Shawn.

Problem running through multiple routers

Is Router B wired and Wireless both? if so you could just use Router B for everything. But if not, you may have DHCP setup on both Routers and that could be causing your problem perhaps.disable the DHCP on Router B so that only Router A gives the IP's. Good Luck. Shawn.

If your behind a Router you gotta change them from the Routers Config. It should have the "Auto detect DNS" type entry,you need to specify your own. then put in the Level 3 DNS Numbers and you should be fine. Shawn.

Road Runner DNS server seems to suck all of a sudden

I unhooked from Router and got New IP/DNS from RR,and it did help a little.but still was slower than should be. I switched to the Level3 DNS as mentioned (4.2.2.1 - 4.2.2.5) and it is flying now. Even in peak hours it seems. Thanks for posting these Level3 DNS Numbers. Shawn.
