Warranty from Philips outlet

Hi All Does anybody have any experience buying refurbished profucts from philips outlet. They have a policy of no return on refurbished products but there is a 90 day "limited warranty" Can somebody please share his/her esperience? Thanks

Thanks a lot ConnCarl I will keep that in mind.. It seems to work beautifully so far... I do not think I am going to buy new speaker wires pretty soon.. One more question, what is the ideal distance of the various speakers from the listening position... Vijseema

Got mine yesterday evening as well. Was really apprehensive after Giscardo's bad luck and so, I started first with the tuner .. worked.. hooked the DVD with composite video - dts 5.1 and dolby 5.1 ...worked.. DVDs tested - Matrix reloaded and LOTR - Two Towers.. Plugged in the subwoofer...

update for those who are trying to find it online.. It no longer shows up in the bargain countdown page when you click find&buy and the ionly way out I could find is to order it over the phone. Hope this helps.. I am waiting for this anxiously now...... I already bought JBL SCS150SI speaker...

I really do not think that a DOA receiver would be ecost's fault because they are actually refurbished by Onkyo and ecost just ships them to you (as per my understanding !!) I really think getting a DOA or a perfect piece is more of a chance event and since the price is quite good, I am buying...

I was thinking of buying this a moment ago but after reading Giscardo's story, I am not sure anymore. Did anybody also receive the product from ecost? I would really like to know about the experiences of other buyers.. By the way, what is the return policy of ecost for refurbished products?
