I dried up last night. So, I joined Rosetta so I could still crunch. Think I'm going to go 50/50 Rosetta/SETI from now on. :beer:

I'm a Major, and I'm essentially a hospital administrator. I'll be at the hospital in the IZ. I'll have to look into DPAD, I've always been SETI focused. I may grow tired of the upload/download routine. Thanks guys!

:cool: BTW I'm running 100% SETI Thanks! I'll have to save these instructions for when I get there! I'll run them 24/7 (no electricity bill :thumbsup:). Every 3-4 days I'll go through an upload/download procedure. Happy crunching!

Hello fellow crunchers! - so I'm heading to Baghdad in December. I plan on taking my two computers over, and want to keep crunching over there. The problem is internet connectivity. They have wi-fi I could purchase, but at about $100 per month for dial-up speeds - eh, I'll pass. Here's how...

SATA and Windows XP 64-bit

I had no problems with my SATA drive - no additional drivers needed, the drive was recognized. This was a SiS Chipset though.

Differences between Windows XP (US) and (UK) versions?

I don't think that it's a regional setting issue at all. Here's my take: I'm stationed in Germany, and had similar problems getting the German version of Webpages (Google is one). My reginonal settings are set for US. I thinks it's a function of your ISP and the webpage you visit...

Gaming LCD: Dell 2001FP or Samsung 213T or other???

I second the 172X. I have it, and play BF 1942 (and DC) and BF Vietnam. No ghosting at all, love the color, and text is great. Running off DVI from a 9800 Pro. i noticed a huge difference between it and the 18" LG that I still use as a second monitor. I highly recommend the 172X.
