I found the temperory solution & that might be the source of the problem too, it was zone alarm version 6 which is causing that blue screen, after uninstalling it the problem seems to be solved. I still would like to know how to read those dmp files.

Zyair 220-AP consuming 35% CPU

I have Zyair G220 wifi AP, when connected my computer shows 35% CPU consumption by G220 even though there is no data transfer happening. Is it normal to for Zyair G220 to consume 35% CPU even when no data transfer happening? May be you can suggest some setting to reduce the CPU...

Tweak XP a software for tweaking XP was the main culprit which was installed in the new laptop, as a last resort I uninstalled it & WAO!!!! its working all fine. A lesson learnt here is that tweaking utilities do mess up with system settings. Thanks all who gave answers. Ranjan

The easiest way is to set the Wireless Access Point to only allow specific MAC Addresses to connect. When you login to the Wireless Access Point you can set this up. I would like to to the same but how do we know the mac address of the other computer.

Thanks Jack, So the solution is to disable the B type card of the laptops & connect the G type to them, I guess that should work. This still leaves me wondering that on an airport where G type routers are networked to give 54mbps wifi speed, they will mostly be functioning at 11mbps bcoz...
