    Dim the lights and get a projector! :) I picked up the Epson 6100 for $1599, put $10 worth of blackout cloth from Joann's on the wall, and instantly upgraded from a 32" TV to a 100" movie screen. ;)

    I've owned the ATI 650 and the DVICO Fusion 5 Gold. The Fusion 5 beats the 650 hands down and then some.

    Just spend the money on a 8800GT and call it a day. Trust me, if you play any games, you'll need all the horsepower you can get. The cards you listed will get choppy at max detail.

    Why are there no reviews on the 32" NEC ASPV32-AVT?

    That is not a bad thing. I've had my Westinghouse 32w6 since 2006. It's a great TV AND Monitor. It actually sits on my desk and is not too low resolution. Especially not bad for my $850 two years ago when everything was $1000 plus. It's a pleasure to work on and watch HD movies.

    Bato, I have a 6600GT and DVDs on my LCD TV is gorgeous. It's definitely not your card. I would use AnyDVD to rip your movies and use the Nvidia PureVideo codec with Zoom Player Pro for playback. This setup upscales DVDs very well, even in overlay mode.

    I am having trouble finding a comparison in performance between these two cards. HIS HD3850 ICEQ3 TurboX 512MB DDR3 = $194 after rebate. HIS HD3870 ICEQ3 Regular 512MB DDR4 = $222. Which is the better choice? After rebate, there is a $28 difference between these cards.
