    My CPU and case temps are normal, I get 82C load on my video card. Case goes no higher than 33C load, and CPU no higher than 42C load. I checked the Nvidia temperature feature in the drivers and the threshhold by default is set at 115C! Maybe the card is just a hot performer like you said it is.

    7600GT at 67C Idle?

    My 7600GT says it runs at 67C idle. Is this too hot, and is there an error possibly? I don't know why the card would run this hot, I have 3 fans in my case. Even adding a fourth brings it down to 64C (and it is too loud with the fourth).

    Why do upgrade vieo cards out of need or want?

    Last upgrade was a 9600SE to a 9800 Pro... and I still can run most games at acceptable levels with that card.

    Can anyone recommend some quiet and cheap fans?

    I got a case with 3 80 mm fans (2 extake, 1 intake) and it is loud a hell! Pissing me off quite a bit recently. Two of the fans came with the case, the other is a Memorex fan that I got a bit back. Any suggestions? I got a large case so they need to push some air, but not too much.

    I think Audigy 2 Value = the rebranded original Audigy 2. Anyway, as soon as I get a chance, I'll rebuild, reformat, etc. Videocard, soundcard, mobo only things that need drivers anyway. Or I might just grab a soundcard out of another computer (probably an Audigy 1 card though) and use that.

    I have the same amount of RAM, same OS, and same motherboard with no problems. All 2 GB is recognized, but I do not notice a difference in performance (probably due to reduction of timings 2.5-3-3-8 1T to 2.5-4-4-8 2T).
