    Will a low refresh rate damage your eyes?

    Personally, my optimitrist says that the only 'adverse' effects from looking at the computer screen is that the muscles in your eyes get really 'tight' from staring at something so close for so long. The same thing happens if you read a lot of books, though... ;-)

    *FIXED* I ended up booting in safe mode and deleting all the USB hosts... so they had to re-init on boot.

    yeah... I tried plugging into all the USB ports. It's just a generic dell mouse, so I figure it uses the normal MS drivers. I'm going to go into safe mode and 're-init' all of the USB controller drivers... see if that works.
