Robby Gordon is a loser at both NASCAR and IRL. He lost the respect of the other drivers in NASCAR to the point he had to bail and start his own team.
Danica drove an incredible race.. and although 100 lbs lighter she did have the disadvantage of driving one handed the whole race whilst...
I personally think I will have BOTH the Xbox and the PC... then I have the best of both worlds... I mean come on.. I do NOT want to change my name to "OhioConsoleGamer" .. it just doesn't have that certain "Zing" to it...
Seriously I think as long as there is a desire to build the biggest...
Agreed - I would not install anything without having a current Ghost image of my RAID drive to go back too if there is a problem. Takes minutes to save you hours of work.
Installed and had issue with Battlefield Vietnam and POE mod for it. Using the 4.9 Betas no issue at all, but after few minutes of gameplay got kicked to desktop using the new "Official" 4.9 Cats. Tried multiple times and same results even after adjusting and tweaking... something isn't right.
EA Games released their newest patch for BFVN this week. It adds several new vehicles and maps.
They will also be releasing a mod that will add several of your favorite BF42 period arena maps to be playable on the new Vietnam engine. Look for that in the Fall 2004.
They recalled the 2nd patch for Far Cry because it impacted the rear sound. So if you have applied the patch 1.2 that is your answer. The initial 1.1 patch was ok. Details on the Far Cry site.
If you did apply the 1.2 patch, then you'll need to reinstall.
Go with the Full Install Pro Version. It is worth the difference for the hassle you go through if your old OS disks for 98, etc. become scratched or lost.
If you are going to use the machine on a network with a domain or need/want to offer remote assistance, you cannot do that with the HOME...
Ok, you ALL missed the point ... if you are a typical guy (or even an Al Bundy type) .. they are appealing BECAUSE THEY ARE GIRLS... woo hoo...
See when you get old like me, it doesn't matter... if they are girls, and walking past me, they are appealing.
:D
Agreed with the posts in here. 3DMark03 is a graphics and cpu intensive test. My original benches with my TI4600 Gainward 128Mb card was 1774 (everything stock). I upgraded to the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb card and whammo... I scored just under 7000 ! Same machine, just the video card...
Yep this is actually BAD news for us AMD fans. Without Intel in there competing with their high end processors in a decent supply - that means AMD can keep their prices a little higher than they would be with the competitor on the shelf...
Check out the Enermax products, and definitely get one that is 430 or above as any future video card updates you might do will demand at least that much power.
Also be sure the power supply has 2 fans... one on the bottom and one for exhaust. That helps draw the heat directly away from the...
I was going to suggest moving to the second set of SATA pins and/or changing out your cable for it in case it was defective. I had a similar issue as I run SATA on RAID 0 array with two Seagate Barracuda drives and they tested slow. I changed out one of the cables that just didnt seat tightly...
I've used Artic Silver for years without issue. It does make a difference in the CPU temp as I discovered using the stock heatsink pad when I upgraded to the AMD 3200XP. Took everything off and used AS5, my temps lowered almost 15 degrees at idle.
As far as the warranty, if you overclock at...
If you notice your monitor is flickering or twinging like it needs medication, it might be the magnetic field being generated by your new 12" fan...
I've had several ladies at work call me over to check on their display going out and they had a big honking deskfan next to it trying to stay...
WATER ???? No way ... use the alchohol it will evaporate quickly and not leave any residue.
If there are any water molecules on there and then it heats up, you can have a problem when it shorts something out.
I would get the one 512 for now if that is all you can do, and then add on later and take advantage of the dual channel. Since you mentioned your not a huge gamer, the one stick will suffice for your general application needs and many games. Then add on when you can. The dual channel gain...
Make sure the Radeon 9800 card is the 256Mb memory 256bit version. There have been some cards releaed recently in the $179-$200 price range that sound like a great deal but they are 128Mb or 256Mb 128bit versions and do not perform as well. In fact the manufacturer is apologizing for...
Yes you need to still connect the plug from the case for the power button or you need to know which two pins to short (using a insulated flat tip screwdriver) to get teh board to power up.
If it still does not, (be sure you try flipping the 0/+ switch on the PS since you have been flipping it)...
I just upgraded to the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro card from my Gainward TI4600 VIVO card and the difference in the gaming graphics was amazing. I am SO glad I did. Even goofing around with 3DMark03 my score went from 1771 with the TI4600 to just under 7000 with the 9800 Pro.
I can see things in Far...
Oh great I just used Artic Silver 5 when I reinstalled my 3200XP Processor.. and NOW I read your post it is going to run all over the place...
Hopefully it won't. I use just a small amount (matchtip size blob) then smooth it out to a thin layer. My temp has stayed at 39C at basic use and 47C...
You can't really go wrong with either chipset you described, they both have their pro's and con's but overall are very stable chipsets which allow decent overclocking and gaming performance.
I would go with the Corsair if you plan on doing any Overclocking or high end gaming. I settled for Mushkin Level One Black modules since they were "comparable" in specs but a little cheaper at the time.
Although the Mushkin is good memory I wish I had gone the extra for the Corsair now that I...
