Question for those of you who are using a bottom intake with the Fractal R3

Oh, and by bottom intake vent I meant the fan mount on the bottom side of the case, right next to where the PSU sits. Not the one that blows onto the hard drives.

I'm looking for these qualities in a case, willing to spend up to $300 if necessary

I'm actually not too picky about the "flashy" thing. I just can't stand cases that light up like the Vegas strip. I'm not showing off my computer to anyone, and it's right next to me when I sleep. I used to have a case that was lit up like crazy and it was like sleeping with the lights on.

Kipper, first off, thank you for all of your very in-depth advice and feedback. Short term goals are a very good idea. I guess I have had them but never formalized them. I suppose doing that would be a good form of motivation and a way to make sure I stay on track. I'm 5'9".

Overclocking problem - will not let me overclock by even 1MHz

Thanks I'll give that a shot. The PSU is brand new (about 3 weeks old now) so hopefully if it's that, I'll be able to get an easy RMA on it.

So to be so persistent, but I'm gonna bump this once to hopefully get some input. If anyone has even an idea of what might be going on, it'd be appreciated. I've already tried resetting the CMOS and the BIOS is at its latest firmware. Thanks for any help.

I am upgrading to Windows 7. I have a question about my game drive.

I could be wrong, but I thought that if you were upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 you could upgrade without reformatting. Avoid formatting would keep your registry intact so you didn't have to reinstall all of your programs, no?

Sorry, it's not that I don't know the password, it's that I can't access the "My Documents" folder when the drive is in another computer because the files are encrypted (it says "Access Denied" when I try to open it; I was under the assumption this was because his user name was password protected).
