    I must say that this BIOS has so many adjustments is makes my head hurt. I honestly don't know where to begin to O/C. Running "optimal settings" right now. I tried; 1. Disabling Turbo 2. Set CPU Ratio to 44 3. Put CPU Vcore to 1.30 Saved settings, rebooted, still runnin at 3.4MHz...

    I was planning installing W7 on the SSD with freq used programs, and use the WD for media storage and not as freq programs. Should I do it that way, or put everything on the WD and use the SSD for SRT? Thanks for help. FYI, this is for a new build.

    Hardware in signature. Will be running 7 64 Ultimate. I know the mobo has a BIOS update that should be flashed, but not sure when that should be done. I assume its not wise to tweak and o/c until win is installed and updated. Appreciate the help on the order of install.

    Whats my E6600 Production Date?

    Heres an up date; its runnin stable @ 3.30 with temps maxing out at 57 C with Orthos. Idle temps are in the mid 30s C. I haven't tried going over 3.30 yet, and I most likely won't even bother. I'm happy with that overclock.

    Took the board off, and put black electrical tape in place. For some reason the screws didn't want to loosen easily so I left as is. They touch the tape, but just barely. I'll know tomorrow when I fire this baby up for the first time. Wish me luck.
