Hi, Is a new unopened FX53 worth $400? Or is a A64 4000+ a bettter value at $375. I have heard that the 4000+ "clawhammer" is a rebadged FX53 but am not sure. Thx for any help
I tried to get it running with only the graphics card, one hard drive, and one dvd-rom. I didn't have the molex for the sli connected as I presently have one 7800 gtx. It would freeze at the mobo splash screen. It did post though.
Does anyone have any idea as to why the Powerstream 520 would not power my DFI or Asus sli boards? As soon as i installed the enermax everything worked as it should. Possibly a faulty psu? Thx Plum
A psu has to have dual 12 volt rails to be atx 2.0 compliant. Only the 600 watt powerstream has dual 12 volt rails. I'm not saying it won't work...just that it didn't work in my case and is not atx 2.0

I used Geil Ultra Platinum PC4000 in the FIS2R. No probs at all!! Mem tested for 12 hours with no errors. Great board by the way. Actually pulled out an Epox 8KDA3J and put the MSI back in. Seems to game a little better :)
My epox mobo does not have mounting holes for a chipset heatsink, it is glued on. It is a sorry excuse for a heatsink also! It is very hot to the touch and I want to use an active cooler. Any recommendatios on a cooler and how to attach it?
I am wondering why my PNY 6800GT shows as being on a pci bus? Shouldn't it be on the agp bus? It seems to performing well though. I have tried new nforce drivers and latest forceware for the video card. The only thing I could find in the bios is which to initialize first, pci or agp. Is there...
I had bad luck with the BFG 6800gt OC. First one wasn't overclocked from BFG. The second wouldn't run at reference clock settings of 350/1000. I purchased a PNY and never looked back!!! Runs very stable @ 415/1100. I am very happy with the PNY.
