I currently have 3 pc's networked by wire. Main pc with dialup ics to a 4 port switch then to 2 client pc's. I just got a notebook and would like to add wireless capabilities for internet use without going crazy. I'm not sure what my options are?? Can I somehow connect the notebook wirelessly to...
Monster Cable 10' network cables with 4 sets of different color clip on snagless boots for 1.99 ea at Radio Shack. Salesman told me they're closing them out so YMMV.
Anyone use some type of software or hardware to allow calls to be answered while online? Right now I have a second line for dialup service and would really like to drop it. The only software I found that looked alittle feasible was Buzme, but you need call fowarding:( I do have callwaiting on my...
Maybe I'm wrong but a problematic video card wouldn't prevent the system from posting. When it didn't post at all everthing powered up
(fans and hdd) but wouldn't even hit the second stage which is the early chipset initialization.
System ran fine for year and half; removed video card to temporarily use in an XP1800 setup I just put together (runs real sweet). I replaced the video card a week later and booted the system only to have it put out 1 long beep and 3 short ones. System appeared to run normal after booting. I...
the voodoo card works fine in winxp although the tv tuner won't. I,m almost positive it's not the video because the beeps come during the cpu intialization phaze of the bootup process. Also MSI site has almost non-existant tech help with absolutley no help with beep codes. I believe beep codes...

I'm not sure if I should post this in this thread, but what the heck. I almost got this combo the first time it was posted. But with the talk on case temps and vid card probs I'm unsure. newegg has a Enermax, CS-A1QX-02($60 shipped),AMD 1700+($124), and SHUTTLE AK31A Refub($49) for a total of...
I got in on this deal earlier in the week but I'm a little concerned about recieving the rebate. Did anyone notice there's no sign of the rebate on the Staples website unless you use an old link? Also, if you check rebateshq.com's site and do a search for the Philips rebate it comes back with a...
This isn't that important but when the system posts it cycles through the memory test 3 times. It doesn't add that much more time on to bootup but it is kind of annoying. Is there a setting somewhere I may be overlooking?

Anybody have any input on the Prime Peripherals 50x CD-ROM, or have any dealings with their rebates?
OOOPS, I guess I have to learn to type faster Text
It's not PC133... but if your looking for decent quality for cheap try this: Staples has PNY 64 MB PC100 for 99.97 (ouch)less 25.00 coupon- 74.97. PM with onvia for 59.99 which brings it to 34.99 + tax.
Perry Texan,
The reason I asked about Mc Glen is:
PIII 700 FC-PGA Retail: 242.95
pointclick 10%: (24.29)
S&H: 4.95
total 223.61
Difference is $7.77 more from mc glen IF within the next 15 days Onvia participates in pointclick again. If they don't the onvia purchase is $239.82.
I guess...
Has anyone ordered thru McGlen? Their resellerrating is less than impressive, but their price seems good. Is the $16 or so cheaper price worth the chance?
