Yes it seems to do the beeping now only with the Radeon in. The P.S. is an Allied 400W

Saphire 9800 DOA?

For some reason now, but not all the time, when I Start the computer I hear a sequence of rapid beeps, very fast one after another - anyone know what this is related too? Thanks for the info.

Saphire 9800 DOA?

Hey Guys, My brother just got a Saphire 9800 PRO to replace his GF4 TI. We took out the old card, put in the new one, plugged in the power, and boot, nothing happens, nothing on the monitor (the computer powers up though). He has an Epox 8K3A series with an AMD 2000+. Any ideas? Is it normal...

Can't Raise Video Refresh rate on DVI LCD?

Check out the specs though: Factory Preset Resolution Modes: 720 x 400 @ 70 Hz, 640 x 480 @ 60 Hz, 640 x 480 @ 75 Hz, 800 x 600 @ 60 Hz, 800 x 600 @ 75 Hz, 1024 x 768 @ 60 Hz, 1024 x 768 @ 75 Hz, 1152 x 864 @ 75 Hz, 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz, 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Shouldn't it run @ 75? Thanks.

Can't Raise Video Refresh rate on DVI LCD?

Hey all, I have a Dell 1800FP LCD Monitor, XFX GF 6800NU using latest Nvidia drivers and the LCD monitor drivers that came on CD with the LCD, connected via DVI. For some reason though - the refresh rate seems to be locked at 60hz, I cannot change it. When I go into display settings...

Doom 3 Stops Responding on Exit?

Need advice on Video $200-$300, been slacking

I guess the question then is (If this didn't get any more complicated), which variation? I've been looking at the XFX version, but should I go with the cheaper eGA (By $4), or another? Thanks

Anyone know WTH this is?

I'm also curious on which one to get - I am looking to get one of these cards, was about to order the XFX then saw this thread - is the Gainword or Chaintech ones faster? The gainward one defintely looks like it has better cooling - would it overclock better?
