You'll see prices go down once the pci-e versions are out. Yeah I noticed alot of GTs. Leadfast, BFG, PNY at fry's and at BB in So Cal. Still very rare to find a Radeon x800 xt pe or a 6800 Ultra.
Yeah if I was willing to buy the top end card, I'd go with XT no question. Higher res w/ AA x AF settings makes it the top speed king in most games except Doom3. Wonder how HL2 will fare?
Yeah your best bet is fry's. I was lucky to find one while just buying blank CDs and thought "might as well check the video card section out". Found the last remaining one just sitting there. Of course its opened but hell if it works, has a marked down price, and BFG's excellent warranty....Why...
