Ran the update on my 6105 with no problems. It updated the bios to 0F08.P00E I already had SP2 installed and did not roll back.

Service Pack 2 already includes the WPA patch. The problem seems to be when you add the adapter to the Network Bridge.

The "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby" is grayed out when I look at the USB in device manager. I can check the "Allow computer to turn off this device" but that is it.

Looking for info on the USB ports on the M6805... ever since nuking and paving with XP PRo I can not get the laptop to come out of standby by using the USB mouse or keyboard. Before I nuked it worked just fine? Is there a special program I need to load from the Emachine discs?

Thats right. I almost forgot! I did update my BIOS to the 6811 BIOS! It did help with most of hte power problems like powering down to standby.

Overclocking CPU and Video card? I just installed Doom3 and want to get it playing better. Do you overclock the CPU first and then run the ATi CPU and memory tests to find the max they can run at? I ran the CPU test over night and it was still running this AM when I check it. Does it ever...

Yea... that is what I thought... I can hear the 4200 hard drive hitting like mad even when I just receive email with Outlook... which even takes longer... so I figured a faster drive would fix it. now.. were to get a cheap one...?..???? ;-)

So what OC speed is most of you with the M6805 running at? I finally got mine to OC by running MSCONFIG and turning some of the crap off that these things come with. Cant wait till XP 64 bit comes out so I can nuke and pave and get rid of this junk. Running at 2.0GHz now with no problems what...

Tried that, it shows 1804.09 and I can move the slider and then hit set values but then when I get the values again they are back to what there were?

Were do you do that at? I thought you had to use ClockGen which I downloaded but it only lets you change the voltage and the Multiplier. If I move the HTT slider and then set it nothing changes.
