I have a 6800OC 128mb AGP card that recently start artifacting. I reset the card about a week ago and it was fine until now. Now the artifacting is crazy even in the BIOS... I tried it in other computers and same thing.
Is this card ready to be tossed or is there anything else I could look...
I recently picked up a used 6800gt and popped it into a system... and nothing. no video signal and the fan doesn't spin and the card does not heat up. I have everything plugged in. I even tried it in another machine with a working 7800gt, and again same problem. Is the card dead?

I can get my winchester stable at 240x10 1.50v... and my cheap ram at a 9/10 divider... my ram is limited up...

I have a crt monitor that I usually have at 1280x1024 at 85Hz... when I play games it drops to 70Hz...
and if I put a game like fear at 1024x764 it drops to 60Hz and causes tearing.

Running a DFI Lanparty SLI... with a A64 3200+... IDE Hard-drive, Dvd-rom...
I instert the disc ... it loads the installer ... I reformat the partition ... it copies the set-up files then reboots...
after the reboot it goes right back into the first set-up screen where it asks to...

well... in the end I decided to get a eVGA 7800GT... with a zalman.. for $210 shipped... it comes with retail box and is unregistered... i assume I don't need a receipt to register it?
