[Retired] The LCD Thread

Black NEC Multisync 1545v LCD for $60 is this a good deal? I don't know much about LCD's but I've been looking for a cheap one that will be used rarely for basic needs, no multimedia or gaming.

Which new console do you support?

I'm not a huge gamer. I built a cheap gaming PC a year or so ago to play games but never really used it. My brothers and I pitched in together and got a Wii. It's really fun to play with friends and Zelda rocks. As I said though, I'm not much of a gamer so it's great because of the fun aspect...

Just bought a paintball gun...

I just got one 2 days ago. It's an old Raptor I got for $20. It's been fun. Now my younger brother is planning on getting one. It's fun but will probably fizzle out after a while.

AMD buyout ATI at $5.4B

I just read about this in my paper. This makes me mad, I prefer Nvidia cards and AMD processors but they had to buy ATI. What's up with that? Oh well they should still be compatible. Though it might not work as well, and the price difference could be big. Oh well. Not much I can do!

yes they all were fine. I've only had the problem since I upgrade my card from a Radeon 9250 to my Geforce 6800. Everything is connected by the way I am sure. It's all put in right the power supply seems the most logical solution.

Well it came with the case so I wouldn't expect you to know the PSU. Anyway it says +12V and below that it says 17A for output then on the -12V it has .8A on the outpit and below that for the -12V it says 9.5W for MAX.

How to unlock Pipelines and Vertex Shader on a 6800 (nu/le/gs)

I unlocked my AGP 6800 EVGA card and it works great for me. THe only problem is I don't have a good enough power supply. If I run any game or 3Dmark to long it kills it. I'm gonna upgrade my power supply soon and my whole Mobo and processor. I love the card though. I got a great deal on it just $120
