Protected WMA to Mp3 format?

For the burning method, you'd need to burn the WMAs to an audio CD to get rid of protection (as in, a regular CD-audio format (80min), not a data CD with WMAs on it) and then re-rip the audio CD into mp3 (or whatever) format. I never had to do this, but is it possible to "burn" to an image...

"Better Looking" is certainly a matter of personal preference... I find that the standard ipod does pretty much nothing for me aesthetically... bland and uninspiring. Like a bar of soap.

Adjustable stands for flat panels?

The Dell LCD is VESA compliant (VESA is "the standard" for all those wall mounts, swivel arms, etc. that attach to your LCD). No idea on who to buy from, but you shouldn't have trouble finding a product that will work.

You need to get an RCA to 1/8" stereo minijack cable and plug it in to the front aux input. Something like http://www.starlink-dss.com/Mini-Stereo-Jack.htm They should have a cheap-ish cable at Best Buy. The L/R audio out on your TV is an analog signal, and the coax is (obviously)...

Do these temps seem right to you?

3400 Clawhammer run at 47c =(

45C is a perfectly normal idle temp, far from damaging the CPU. Don't worry about it. Granted, my room is warm, but the only way I can get my CPU idleing under 40C with stock cooling is by turning Cool n Quiet on.

What I'm saying is that it's completely normal to have a better image with DVI than with the analog connection. Nothing to go on a hissy fit over. Just use the DVI.

What are the symptoms of a low +5v rail?

nvidia 6800 GT over heating problems

Sounds higher than normal but not too hot...mine idles at 63-64C. I've seen it up around 89C at load. As said before, threshold for the 6800GT is 120C, so it's not really overheating. Do the sensors on the video card have the same problems with accuracy as motherboard sensors?

A64 performance

CPU marks in 3dmark is definitely affected by more than just the CPU. I tested my A64 3200+ once with my old 512 pc2100 and ti4200, and again after getting 1024mb pc3200 and a 6800gt.... CPU marks rose 170 pts... about a 20% increase with the exact same CPU at the exact same speed. I think for...

so you're looking for another agp card? i don't think you'd need the all-in-wonder (with a tv tuner) unless you want to get into recording TV and stuff.... just a basic card with TV out should work... probably wouldn't be a problem with an old radeon 7000 or geforce mx series.... , $30-$40...

build in memory vs. not build in memory

dedicated graphics card memory is faster than regular desktop memory. Though I don't putting real video memory on an Intel eXXXtreme graphics display adapter would make it much faster. The kinds of graphics chips that use system memory are just slower overall than ones with their own video...

sata shows at start up but not in windows

The Windows install CD won't recognize a SATA drive unless you press F6 when it asks if you need to install scsi/raid drivers and then you need to have a floppy with your SATA drivers on it. Format the drive from Disk Management under Administrative Tools in the Control Panel in Windows XP...

UPS needs? For 110W, 350W, and more?

Don't have the answers to the other question at the moment (volt amps => watts), BUT!!! Your power supply will only draw the amount of power needed by the system (+efficiency), so the specs of your PC will matter a lot in determining the size of a UPS. For comparison, my PC (sig) and 17"...

I think it's $80 to purchase. I 'aquired' my version through....other channels... Yeah, you can select as many files as you want to recover at once. Basically what the program does is scans your hard drive for start and end points of files and recreates your directory tree, so on the left...

Ok, so I pulled the drive and stuck it back in another PC (didn't boot from it). The drive shows up and works fine, did a chkdsk and didn't find any errors. Problem in the boot sector? I dunno. Can bad memory cause something like this???
