    The way I used to do this was to modify a XP setup script and change the following: [GuiUnattended] ProfilesDir = "C:\Users" I've tried replacing registry keys and ran into some pretty wierd errors. The above method seems to work best.

    You could decrease the amount of space vista uses for system restore: vssadmin Resize ShadowStorage /For=C: /On=C: /MaxSize=2GB That command would set your C: drive to use a max of 2GB. Additionally, I think you can just disable system restore, but you can still create restore points...

    Some academic institutions have partnerships with Microsoft, and you can download many of their products for free. I downloaded Vista, Server 2003, XP, and a score of other various Microsoft applications through this method.

    Pairs 2 & 3 are swapped in a crossover cable; This way the transmit pins on one end go to the recieving end on the other, otherwise both cards would be transmitting over the same pair, and receiving on the same pair. See this diagram for the pinout of a typical crossover cable...

    A little off topic, but if you or your friend are interested in sighting the space station, check out SkyWatch 2.0 Click on Start Applet, and punch in a zip code or continent, and it will approximate when you should be able to sight the space station (or various other satellites).
