I called twice yesterday and was promised that it would ship but nothing happened. I am starting to get pissed because i am passed the time when they are supposed to ship and not i am getting the run around
I think it was just a defective PSU issue because i have a 7900 GT CO with a dual core cpu and 4 drives as well and i run fine with a antec 430 true power
I am actually back to the original windows based drivers for the cpu and i had to manually remove the flag because the driver rollback didnt remove it. no problems so far but we shall see. i have tried rope and several other programs to no avail. all of those programs crash the game at load...
if you really wanna laugh i removed the pmtimer line from the boot loader and went back to the windows cpu drivers and so far it is working. i will keep messing and see how it goes
yes i wrote to them and they are trying to fix the issue but they believe it is something with the way the dual core balances its load(which i have seen is a issue with this chip regardless) this is the only game i play right now and it is not worth the cpu if i cant play it.
[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /usepmtimer
32 bit if someone maybe could
the error occurs after i click...
Has anyone had complete success getting there X2 to work with L2. I have tried run first and setting the affinity but both crash the game with a blue screen. This is heartbreaking because i play this game all the time and need to fix this
No i used software to copy to my new HD. I think it was the cat 5.9s because i rolled back last night and the system has been on for 12 hours now with no problems
Ok This is what i had
athlon 64 3200
msi neo4 plat
2 X 512 kingston ram
radeon x800xl
2 sata WD 120 gig drives
now
athlon 64 X2 3800
same board,graphics and ram
160 SATA 2 Hitachi HD
OK when playing Lineage 2 the computer locks up with a dark blue screen. it never did this...
I know on previous Asus 865PE board the "Hyperpath" feature(Intel PAT) had to be enabled in the BIOS.
Does anyone know if this feature is automatically on, on the P5P800 because i cant find anything in the BIOS related to it and the documentation says nothing just that it is built in
