Missing Config.sys for XP Home

Question about backups

Thanks for your suggestions! I have found a program that does what I need it to do. With the newest Nero, it has a program called BackItUp!. It is probably the easiest thing I've tried so far; everything is menu driven and very configurable. Thanks! Onslaught

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but does this back up to the re-writable? Isn't there something that would need to be configured from with in the burning software? This is my first time dealing with re-writables. Thanks Onslaught

Well, I still haven't had it crash. I know the problem isnt fixed still. I did put in the 4.9's like you said but its just a matter of time till I do the "right" things to make it crash again. Hopefully more sooner than later. I hate keeping ya waitin :/ As soon as it does I'll email ya...

Well thats good news :) One down, one to go. I just did a futuremark03 test and it ran through. It's weird how it BSODs when I least expect it, but when I try to test for it, it doesnt bsod :/ Oh well. I'll take your advice and try the 4.9's and see what goes on. Thank you again! Onslaught

New cab on the way. Yes, as suggested by the forum and you, I had updated my drivers for both my soundcard and my graphics. I did the graphics after seeing the sound update not correcting the bsod. Currently I'm running the CATALYST Windows XP 4.8 driver for the 9500 pro card. Thanks again...

Bad luck :( Everything seemed ok, cause it didn't crash as often as it use to. Went to run 3dmark03 and it did during the cpu tests (at which point sound was not played nor was it prior). I did get a new bsod, maybe this has the same info, maybe it has new info. This Bsod didnt have a error, it...
